Project Background
In modern residential communities, outdoor space is more than landscaping. It is a daily extension of family life. For the Jiangmen Pengjiang Yingbin Avenue Country Garden project, the goal was clear: turn an ordinary green area into a safe, colorful, and all-age outdoor fitness park.
The client needed a space where children could play, adults could exercise, and elderly residents could stay active. The park also needed to fit the community environment, resist outdoor weather, and require simple long-term maintenance.
Wenzhou Bailu Playground Equipment Co., Ltd. was invited to provide a complete solution, from product selection and layout planning to on-site installation and final safety checks.
The Challenge
Every community installation has real-site challenges. This project was no exception.
Limited and Irregular Space
The available area was surrounded by residential buildings, green belts, and walking paths. The layout had to include multiple activity zones without blocking circulation or damaging existing landscaping.
Multi-Age Requirements
A successful community park must serve different users. Children need safe and stimulating play equipment. Adults need durable fitness machines. Elderly users need low-impact and easy-to-access exercise options. Families need open space for walking and gathering.
Safety and Durability
Outdoor equipment is exposed to sun, rain, and heavy daily use. The installation had to ensure stable foundations, corrosion resistance, and impact protection.
Visual Integration
The park needed to stand out as a fun destination while still blending with the surrounding residential environment.
The Solution
Wenzhou Bailu Playground Equipment Co., Ltd. designed a zoned outdoor fitness park with clear functions and a bright, energetic color scheme.
Space-Themed Children’s Playground
The children’s area features a large space-themed combo structure. It includes hexagonal play cabins with transparent windows, a spiral tube slide, climbing nets and rope tunnels, interactive panels, crawl-through spaces, safety handrails, and anti-slip platforms.
The blue, white, and yellow color palette creates a strong visual identity. The structure encourages physical activity, imagination, and social play.
Adult Outdoor Fitness Equipment
For adults and elderly residents, the project installed a range of outdoor fitness machines, including air walkers, waist twisters, leg press and pull-down stations, and stretching and balance equipment.
These fitness stations are spaced for comfortable use and anchored with concrete foundations for stability.
Swing Zone
A multi-seat swing zone was added with different seat heights. The frame uses green powder-coated steel for weather resistance, while the top beam has a natural wood finish to soften the look.
EPDM Rubber Surfacing and Graphic Design
The entire park uses EPDM rubber surfacing for safety and comfort. The surface includes blue and yellow safety zones, running track graphics, “KEEP RUNNING” and “WALK” markings, “跑道加油站” running station graphics, and circular activity spots.
This surfacing provides shock absorption, reduces slip risk, and helps define different activity zones.
Installation Process
A high-quality park depends on professional installation. The Wenzhou Bailu Playground Equipment team followed a detailed process.
Step 1: Site Survey and Layout Marking
The team measured the site, checked drainage, and marked the exact positions of each equipment zone. This helped avoid conflicts with trees, pathways, and underground services.
Step 2: Foundation and Base Work
Concrete foundations were prepared for all fixed equipment. The base work ensured that swings, fitness machines, and the large combo slide remained stable under dynamic loads.
Step 3: Equipment Assembly
Large play structures were assembled in sections. The installation team used lifting equipment for heavy components and carefully aligned every connection point.
Step 4: Safety Inspection
After assembly, the team checked bolt torque and connection tightness, rope and net tension, slide alignment and edge smoothness, fall height protection, and surface flatness and drainage.
Step 5: Final Integration
The team cleaned the site, adjusted graphic markings, and confirmed that all equipment was ready for public use.
Results
The completed outdoor fitness park has become a daily destination for the community.
Children enjoy the space-themed playground and climbing nets. Adults use the fitness stations for morning and evening exercise. Elderly residents benefit from low-impact outdoor training. Families use the running track and open activity zones.
The project shows how a well-planned outdoor fitness park can turn underused space into a safe, attractive, and active community hub.
